2001 20th anniversary headlights

This is my first time goin on a forum but I need help. I wired a hid kit into my car and either the high or low beam is working (bi-xenon). I don't know which one and it won't switch between highs and lows. I took out the wires leading to the harness and tried hooking them up in all orders and dint work...
Please help as soon as possible with a solution.

That's a hard problem to help with without pictures and more information. Generally these kits are made to plug into factory harnesses, so they are essentially plug and play unless you get a 55W kit and buy the extra wire harness to handle the extra load in which case you have a switching coil. In other words, the members here need more info and also pictures to be helpful.

I had a similar problem. tried different wiring configurations but nothing seemed to work. Could only get low beams to work, if I tried switching to high beams it would all just flicker. I just gave up on it.

Check to see if the ballast is defective. It happened to me a couple of times. Take the ballast from the side that is working and try it on the side that's not working and see if it works. If it does work then there is your problem.

2000 and 2001 Maximas only use one bulb. 02-03 have factory HID lows and halogen brights (I'm pretty positive anyway...)
