Hello everyone,


I searched the forums and didn't see info so here is my question....
Recently my wife's 02 Maxima started to knock, come to find out it's a rod bearing... Now I've found a 04 Maxima that was a complete wreck in a salvage yard that runs great. My question is will the engine from the 04 work in the 02? I've read that the 4 digit of the vin has to be the same for it to work, not sure if this is true or not. Any help would be appreciated. thanks....
