What do you think would be a good start price to sell my I30t?

Just wanted some opinions. I am pushing to get a new car early next year and want to know what would be a good price to list my car as.

Its a 2000 I30t autumn bronze, Santa Barbara, CA.

The ugly:
2 years ago the car was stolen, driven around town and crashed. However there was only body damage to the RF 1/4 panel, headlight and bumper, the car needed nothing mechanically and I've been driving it since with no ill effects. Car was not totaled by the insurance company.

The bad:
There is a 1" X 8" spot on the trunk lid where the paint is coming off. Like many cars with 170k+, the car squeaks and rattles. Its not that bad but it does make a little noise. The leather is mostly good but the center arm rest has a 1" tear and the driver seat is a little worn. The radio has a small crack in it. Other then that the interior is perfect.

The good:
Car has been VERY well taken care of. I worked at Infiniti when I bought it, I am the 2nd owner. 95% of the miles on this car are long distant freeway miles. (From college, long distant relationship, friends moving....) You name it, everything works, the rear shade, the power windows, the moon roof. All maintenance has been done on time.

The fantastic:
Here is the key for a buyer: The car needs NOTHING and wont need ANYTHING for some time. Brand new contis on front, good years on back are in ok shape, still a couple of mms to the wear bars. Brand new brake pads all around, fluids just changed, clean filters. Just put new belts on last month, changed the LEDs in the clock.

Replaced while I've had this car:
Catalyst, ac compressor, 4x struts, IAB valve, all coils, battery is 3 years old, starter and cables replaced last year, replaced both xenon headlights 2 years ago, new key fob and key....

So what do people think. I wont be ready to sell for a few months, so the car will prolly have 175k, but just wanted to hear opinions on where a good starting point would be and any opinions on the car.

Would need to see pictures of the damage, but in my opinion, you could sell the car for no more than $3500 in it's present condition. More like $3,000. Our 10-12 year old cars that were $25k-$40K new are only worth like 10% - 17% of their original sticker. That depends on mileage, year and condition. I have a 2001 AE Max w/125k and it could probably sell for $4k-$5k.

I would agree with this because of miles, condition, and it was stolen so the title is probably branded.

Basically with the extra cash I have im paying down some of my credit card debt (from college) and I want the I30 to basically be my down payment. So we shall see....

2000-2001 with 170k+ at a private market would probably only get you about 2000 on a good day. If you can wait to sell it, wait until tax season, you can probably get 2500-2600 for it.

GL.

Youre talking about maxima value there. Add 500-1000 for infiniti.
