Cattman Performance gen5 headers/y-pipes/cats going into production, time to order!

CATTMAN PERFORMANCE FORUM NOTICE

Just wanted to let everyone know that we're beginning several new batches of Cattman Performance exhaust parts next week (29 October), with completion in early December. No waiting and wondering when the next batch will come together, we're ready to lock and load right now.

These are the parts we’re ready getting ready to manufacture:

1. Cattman Performance header/y-pipe sets for all 95-03 Maximas and all 95-04 I30/I35s @ $817 (no EGR) and $837 (with EGR) for maxima.org members.

2. Cattman Performance FastCats (all-metal substrate bolt-in main cat) for 97-03 Maximas and all 97-04 I30/I35s @ $238 for maxima.org members or $225 when purchased with another Cattman exhaust part.

3. Cattman Performance Y-pipes for all 04-08 Maximas, all 05/06 Altima V6s, and 02-04 Altima V6s with manual transmissions @ $428 (no cat) and $618 (with all-metal cat and dual O2 ports downstream) for maxima.org members.

4. Cattman Performance header sets for all 04-08 Maximas, all 05/06 Altima V6s, and 02-04 Altima V6s with manual transmissions @ $637 (no EGR) and $655 (with EGR) for maxima.org members.

We are also taking orders for this catback exhaust system with production expected to begin in about a month (NO deposit due until production begins):

• Cattman Performance 3” catback system for all 00-03 Maximas and 00-04 I30s/I35s @ $760 for maxima.org members.

Orders require a 30% deposit, with the balance due when they're finished.

This will be the last time we make these parts in 2012. Production will be limited and the entire run is usually sold by the time they’re completed, so I strongly encourage customers to sign up now.

I won't have much time to monitor this thread, but will be glad to take orders and answer questions by phone at 520.575.6195, we’re typically open 9-5 MST, M-F. Please leave a message if I'm out or on another line.

As always, my thanks to our loyal friends and customers, past, present and future.

Better buy these headers now considering they are the only option for a nice equal length header!

Who knows when the next time you will be able to get these is

^ i think what he meant by gen 5's was 5th Generation maxima - i thought the same thing but put 2 and 2 together and it made sense cause he posted in the 4th and 6th gen forum and label it as gen 4 and gen 6

Never stopped. I let folks know we were looking for a buyer a while ago, but that didn't mean we went out of business. As long as customers want quality Maxima and Altima parts, and I have time to make it work, we're happy to keep making them.

Anyone who is interested, go ahead and give us a call, I'd like to get a final count on this batch by early next week. We'll be starting to collect deposits this weekend from those who have ordered already.

Ha oh wow. I was wondering why I had never heard of the gen 4's! lol. I

Also, for anyone needing cat, I've had the cattman fastcat on my car for about 120k miles and it still looks like new. Definitely a high quality part!

I went in on the last group buy (a few months ago) and got the full system, front to back. Power gains are great. It's really a sweet setup I would highly recommend it. Especially for people who may not be installing it themselves, you can breathe easy knowing that if you take it to a shop, they won't have to hack things up because it will fit.

cat-less and untuned will yeild natural flaaames

i really wish i wasn't a student, i bought some used headers but honestly if i had the money i'd get these.

Brian, the muffler that comes on them cat backs, do you make those in house? ever thought about outsourcing just the muffler to perhaps reduce costs on the cat back?

Hello Brian. Glad to see that you didn't sell. Cattman makes really great headers. He mad me a pair of the 3" ones for my SC setup a number of years back and they gave me major gains. Quality and materials above anything else out there. You won't regret this purchase.

Both with cattman header/y. Second sounds a lil raspy because of no cat. I still think it sounds delicious

Post #19 includes an enlarged (Hybrid Resonator section) MF muffler 12649, 6" round x 18" long body x 24" overall.....a bigger resonator and quieter operation without sacrificing performance........

We're trying to finalize our production numbers for these parts, so give us a call if you're interested. We never know when (or if!) the next batch will be made.

Brian, I have everything accept the FastCat and am happy to vouch for the incredible quality and Cattman standard your products have. It's so good to hear you're back doing what you do best on the .org!

For the newbs who don't know who Brian is, become very, very familiar with him. Not only one of the nicest after market parts dealers around, but is an essential part of the .org community and go-fast Maximas everywhere.

You still in AZ man? I'd love to meet up over my winter break for a beer or something if you have some free time!

I am extremely interested but will not have the money until after the new year. Will these still be available around February? Do you offer a discount to those buying Headers/y, fastcat, and cat back together? 02 max doesn't require EGR, correct?

A new batch of header/y-pipe sets will arrive here Monday or Tuesday - only one set left for sale, first come, first serve. Also have a couple sets of headers and y-pipes for 6th gen Maximas, no waiting, ready to ship.

Brian
