Difference in the 2 MAFs ...

I looked on courtesy nissan for the maf for a 2000se, got these two difference mafs, 22680-A33B005 and 22680-2Y001, a little confused between the 2, are they the same parts? The price is different as well. Thanks for any help.

First of all, you must learn to understand the Courtesy nissan website. They do not want to give you the actual nissan part number. The number 22680-A33B005 is not a nissan part number. The first part is (22680) is, it related to the page in the parts book. The last part (A33B005) is not. It is just some code they have developed. A33B is the 5th gen maxima and the 005 I think means this particular part is the 5th one of its type or the 5th revision of the part.

The nissan part number is 5 & 5 - 5 numbers, a dash and 5 characters. The 22680-2Y001 is a valid part number and is the number for the MAF on a 2000. I am surprised that you got the actual part number off of their website.

The worded description on both those MAFs say it is for your car. Why the different prices, I don't know. If you are going to order it over the internet, you could consider this place for $78 ...

Here is the parts book diagram, the MAF is in the lower right corner.

Thanks for the help guys, much appreciated! Where's DaveB when you need him? Too bad he's no longer with Nissan.

I'm having some issues finding stuff, how do you narrow down the incabin air filter?

You buy it on eBay. Aircabinman (or something) is the best seller.

About a year ago, DaveB was laid off. While he was able to get a job at another dealer, that dealer would not let him do discounts for us. So Dave found someone that would.

Rusty took VERY good care of me last time I needed parts. Went way above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed, and when I indicated I wasn't 100% sure about something, he did some legwork and research for me without even being asked. A+ service.
