AC Compressor question

AC Compressor question
I have a 2001 max anniversary edition and im getting some noise which I believe is coming from the AC compressor it's like a rattling noise when the cars idling and sometimes when I turn on the AC the belt will squeal temporarily. My question is is it possible to buy just the pulley and bearing so I don't have to replace the whole compressor? Because other then the noise my car is driving completely fine
Thanks in advance guys!
Also could it possibly be my belt causing this noise I had my alternator replaced and new belt put on and it seems to have appeared not long after.

Not sure that you would have to replace the pulley, but you can buy the clutch bearing individually on ebay for like 30 bucks. Problem is, you probably can't do the change out yourself while the compressor is still in the car. You'd have to take it to a shop that can evacuate your refrigerant and remove the compressor. By the time that's done, you almost may as well buy a new compressor... My clutch blew right off my compressor the other night. I think I'm looking at about a $500+ bill to replace the compressor with a new OE Calsonic. Maybe a little less, it just depends on what my buddy wants to charge me for labor at his shop...

I must have forgot to pay someone to suck out the refrigerant when I pulled my motor... lol
Good luck getting someone to install a new bearing if you can't do it yourself. All they want to do is make gobs of money replacing the compressor.
You could also buy a used compressor (lower mileage of course) for pretty cheap and swap it in. That would be the easiest, imo, but of course risky, since you don't know how long it will last.
