I need some help on this situation.

I walked outside and saw that my windows were fully open. And this is without me having the remote with me.

Closed them. Ever since then this issue is happening everyday, and on top of that, while im driving i can hear the car "unlocking" (the tick noise when you unlock from remote) without even touching the remote.

I popped the batteries out of both remotes. I dont think that helped, because the issue kept on going. I just disconnected the battery to reset the whole system, see if that helps. My audio has always been going in and out intermittently (no idea why)

Anyone have this issue ?

Probably a short somewhere. Not familiar enough with the 5th gen electronics to help you but somebody should be able to once they come across this thread

 

Perhaps a bad smart entrance control unit? Never heard of that one. It's not a flood vehicle is it?

 

it happened on my 4th gen but I am still not sure what caused it. Locks would just unlock and then lock in quick succession randomly. Electrical gremlins are hard to find and harder to fix

 

very random. Nope. clean title. have had it for 3 years
