Pics of Your Installed TWM STS

The only sts i've seen was on a 4th gen (probably would be the same way in my 5th) and neutral was damn near where 3rd gear is stock. I don't think i would be comfortable with that. I, of course, have a 5th gen (NOT 5.5). I was told to get the TWM but, I'm not sure how bad it is as far as shifter positioning. I DID also read up on the "free" sts but, I'm still curious about the TWM. Any pics of the shifter positioning with the TWM or, at this point, ANY sts installed would be helpful. Thanks.

Not 100% on that. I googled twm + maxima and came up with that off someone's photobucket.
Even if it isn't a twm it'll be a close comparison.

Oh ok.. My main "worry" is the shift pattern being moved forward.. This one looks pretty straight tho... I'm debating if i should try it lol.. Just don't wanna be disappointed...

On my 5.5 the short shift adapter made a pretty signifigant difference. The gesrs "forward" since theg were closer together. I imagine it will be more severe on your 5th geb. You wil get used to it very fast. After a week or 2 it will be the bew norm. It has been years since I put mine on and I do not eveb remember what the stock shifts were like.

FWIW...here is my (very) old Cardomain page. Page 2 shows a difference between stock and B&M short shifter on my ex-99. Not that a TWM on a 5th will be the same but I think throws will be similar distance/positioning.

With the TWM you will notice the shifter moved forward.
2nd 4th and 6th will be where neutral is hence "short throw shifter" it shortens the throw to almost half of what it should be stock.
That is a picture of someone who shortened the shifter height.
