Love My Car!

Have had my 2003 Infiniti I35 for about 9 months now. Bought it with 117,000 (for $7,500) miles and now at around 124,000 miles. Car was extremely clean and you could tell that the previous owner really took care of it. Not a single problem yet! Engine is not burning oil from what I can tell and the only thing I had to replace was a muffler. Impressed with the responsiveness of the pedals, and the amount of luxury amenities that were available in this 2003 entry level luxury sedan. I know the engine is reliable and I am trying to get 200,000 miles out of it.

This is a great forum, and a great community.

I think the cars actually only get interesting at 200,000 miles, because then you begin to ask yourself how much longer can it go before it's no longer nice. Hindsight being 20/20, I wish I had known that there wouldn't be any cars with the combinations of features and driving pleasure made after the A33/A34 series - I'd have bought two.

I like mine as well. No major problems, but some preventative maintenance and repair. Wheel bearig and control arm/ball joint. Oh, and some mods. Ypipe flex was starting to fail so went with Cattman. Muffler rusted out so went with SRS stainless catback - too loud. Replaced muffler with G35 sedan one, (as donated to me by my friend from this forum). Replaced right valve cover and while I was @ it installed NWP spacers. A Stillen pop charger with dry flow filter rounds it off. Just changed the oil, coolant and tranny fluid. Car runs smooth and strong. I have around 98000 miles on her. Paint and interior is in good to very good condition
