fuel bypass cut off valve missing

fuel bypass cut off valve missing

have been smelling gas fumes for a few weeks now and after weeks of looking for fuel leaks and googling the issue I gave in and took it to the dealer.

My dealer is good people so they did the diagnostic at no charge and told me my bypass cut off valve was MISSING!!!(WTF). The repair was going to be $400 and change so I decided to see if I could do it myself.

The major issue I'm running into is terminology: Is the vacuum bypass cut valve the same part as the fuel bypass cutoff valve??

If u went to the dealer u should get the report they give u and im pretty sure a part number is on that or a diagram indicating which parts are needed

I don't know of any fuel bypass cutoff valve my self. They all seem to be vacuum bypass and vacuum cutoff.

Are you asking about a pathfinder? Your sig says you don't have a maxima.
