Race Time

Hello again, just talking to someone who has a 2004 Lincoln LS V8...now I am aware that the LS has 280 hp and I believe 285 lb-ft of torque while my Infiniti I35 has 255 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque. But remember, the Infiniti is also 450lbs lighter than the Lincoln...what do you guys think? My personal opinion, I would pull ahead off of the line, but eventually the Lincoln would overtake me.

Depends on a lot more than just HP and torque. What is are the gear ratios on the lincoln? Are you running a manual transmission or an automatic? Are either of you decent drivers? Best way to find out is to take it to the strip.
