quick o2 question

ok so i have been doing a little research and i just wanted to double check.
Ifi have problems with both my bank 2 sensor 2 and bank 1 sensor 2(codes p0159,p0158,and p0140) both of these do not effect performance and I can run an o2 simulator to them correct?

I'm not sure on those codes or the 3.0 set-up, but possibly. As long as they are for the post o2 (after the pre cat), it shouldnt effect perfmance. Depending on what those codes mean, if the o2 is just getting a bad reading, then your pre cat may be pooched and it might be worth getting a y-pipe to delete the cat, in which case you would probly need an o2 sim or the bung extensions.

If the code is saying the there is a problem with the o2, then sim's might work but I'm not sure. I think you would want to find out why the codes are coming up for sure. Cus if they are saying the o2's are bad, as there can be a number of possible causes for that. Search the codes, and the scenario, Good luck man

Exactly. If the Code is for an ACTUAL problem, like bad Cat's, then you are putting a band-aid over a much bigger problem, and it will fix nothing.
