Sprung Clutch

Okay, I'm replacing my flywheel with a Fidanza and will be needing a sprung clutch. From what I've been reading the 350Z clutch has been used in the past. Here's my problem. There are several part numbers listed for the 350Z clutch and I've seen many people have problems with the fit. The Exedy only lists one part number but it's $750. Can anyone tell me exactly which clutch I should use (hopefully less than $400)?

the only fitment issues i know of are using a 350z flywheel because the timing ring does not align. any z clutch should work just fine.

I fully intend on using the Maxima Fidanza Flywheel, it's the clutch that seems to be an issue. Does anyone know which is the right one? Is there a sprung Maxima clutch I would be better off using?

DaveB isn't around on the weekends (tried calling) so I'm going to call there on Mon.

However, anyone heard of this or run into this problem in the meantime? Maybe it's the wrong Pressure Plate/cover assm in the box?

Can you verify this when you receive it and let me know? They don't list a clutch for the 5.5 Max on their website.

I was wrong about the clutch being Exedy, I'm not even sure what he told me over the phone today, I was too busy with work to get him to repeat it.

Very fast response from JWT!

If you wish to upgrade to one of our JWT performance clutch sets, these have a sprung hub design and work nicely with the JWT low inertia flywheel.

LALT2-NF000 Billet aluminum flywheel 15lbs, fits 02+ Maxima, $450.00

LSER2-NC000 JWT performance clutch/disc $299.00 For 2002-2006 Maxima/Altima V6, has 900kg clamping force (use this for 400hp or less)

L3503-NC000 Hi-Performance clutch kit (pressure plate and disc,) 1200kg clamping force fits 2002+ Maxima with 3.5L engine $485.00 (use this for over 400+ hp up to 600hp potential)

I appreciate the offer but I think I'm going to go with the JWT clutch.
