Sprung Clutch

Sprung Clutch
Okay, I'm replacing my flywheel with a Fidanza and will be needing a sprung clutch. From what I've been reading the 350Z clutch has been used in the past. Here's my problem. There are several part numbers listed for the 350Z clutch and I've seen many people have problems with the fit. The Exedy only lists one part number but it's $750. Can anyone tell me exactly which clutch I should use (hopefully less than $400)?

I have a shop that put in a Fidanza LWFW and 350z clutch kit and they claim that the 350z pressure plate is hitting the trans. They said they need to shave the trans where it is hitting about 1/8 of an inch. I never heard of anyone else having this problem. Is this uncommon or is there something that can be done?? Thanks!
I bought the 350Z clutch from Dave B (30205-CD00B) with the Nissan Maxima TO bearing (30502-41U20) and the Flywheel from UltraRev (Fidanza flywheel).
However, when the tech installed the new clutch, they said they heard pinging and then when they took it back apart, they found the bell housing was scraped up because the pressure plate is rubbing up against it and eating away at it.
DaveB isn't around on the weekends (tried calling) so I'm going to call there on Mon.
However, anyone heard of this or run into this problem in the meantime? Maybe it's the wrong Pressure Plate/cover assm in the box?

I'm ordering the clutch combo from JWT today, its an Exedy clutch modified a bit with the Fidanza flywheel.. I believe its sprung and they will offer you a little deal if you get both, just ask.

well, i have a '06 altima flywheel (i'm 6spd) which is the same as the Maxima's and am using an '03 350z clutch and pressure plate. i'm not sure what happened during those installs but mine is working just fine. the engine on the other hand... lol

I just ordered that combo, should be here thursday.. They don't list it on there website, you have to call.. I'll keep an update
I was wrong about the clutch being Exedy, I'm not even sure what he told me over the phone today, I was too busy with work to get him to repeat it.
