which springs for me?

i know the h&r and maxspeed springs are supposed to be pretty close to a stock ride. i don't really care about handling since my car handles just fine. in fact, i'd like to regain some of its original suppleness. but i do want to lower the damn car. too high, especially in the front. any suggestions for a soft, low set of springs that won't bottom me out?

Well you have selected the only two springs that will give you as close as a stock ride as possible.

H&Rs are supposed to be nice and soft like stock, and my Maxspeed springs seems just about near SE stock springs.

Neither of these springs with cause you to bottom out, I mean essentially, not even progress springs or any other springs should cause you to bottom out unless they have been cut.

for what you're looking for, the H&Rs are the optimal choice.

Get H&R. The quality is excellent. The ride is excellent. The handling improves a lot. High speed stabilty is way better. Price is reasonable. Can't complain. Cut one bump stop off when installing and you will be fine.

Are H&R's better than Eibachs in terms of ride and handling? What are the differences?

I've looked around on pricing, but who would have the best deal on H&Rs?

tons of springs

tons of springs out there for our cars...

Anyone have a problem with springs failing over time?

Is there such a thing as a bad spring?

Also it would be great to have a list of all the springs and comments on them. What happened to that member site that reviewed Max Mods?

R U sure? Most guys I know cut one out? I think even Kev mentioned it should be done? I had it done when I had my H&R installed.
