yeah some days I wish someone would hit mine.
I had the oppourtunity with a deuch-stick the other day in a fiesta. wouldn't let me over in traffic so I pushed over cause he was being a deuch-stick.

Then he decided to go all Rambo with his little fiesta and swerve around me, etc trying to run me off the road. I just carried on at a leisurely pace, then decided to be a bit of a deuche and follow him around for a bit to freak him out and think he messed with the wrong person.

How do you know it is HLSD?

If you do not have the cash keep your car. Don't jump into getting the 5 speed only because it is manual. You do not know when yours is going to sell and if the 5 speed will be still available then. Keep your money. there will be plenty of 5/5.5 gens with manual you could buy in the future when you have saved up.

Those can be added on, so it's not a true indicator of HLSD. You have to look at the plate on the firewall and look at the trans code to be sure.

Yeah, but since it looks like there aren't any other modifications on the car, chances are the previous owner didn't just add them, and the transmission is HLSD.

That's a good point, and you could be right, but you never really know without checking the plate. I learned that working in the car industry for many years.

Ok before any more of this "snobby rich boy attitude" and "parents give you all your money" continues, your all wrong. This is the first time my parents have given me sh*t. I bought my car, buy my gas, pay for repairs, buy my insurance, buy EVERYTHING with my own money. By no means am I a snobby, spoiled rich kid. Cool it guys

Man listen. I wish you the best and respect you and think it is admirable that at 16 you are working and not just asking your parents for money. That being said if you want to be respected as an adult you should act like one. You asked a question. Should you buy this car. Seems like most people said no. Now it is up to you to decide whether to listen to the people on the forum or not. I do not see why there is continues pointless discussion about your parents and their money and so on.

Are you buying the car or not?

You read my mind. I talked to the guy 10 minutes before I was about to leave. He said, "oh btw the check engine light is on, it needs a windshield wiper fluid resevoir, an oil change, and all the speakers are out of the car. And the lowest ill take for it is $3200" I said ya... goodbye. Now I believe that is the end of this thread. Thanks for the help y'all.

True, we all get that "fever" at one point in time or another. You can't let that fever control your judgement. I've known so many people that bought a car and then later regretted it. It's always a good idea to take a friend with you when you do go look at a car to buy so they help you make judgement calls and look over the car.

All true, and yes, they could have been added on after the fact. I mean, I did in my old car.

i didnt even start driving till i was 17, Im 31 now, ive owned so many car's now i cant count, hell 45 of them were pontiac fiero's alone (i had a fiero phase i guess) still have two of them with 3800 series II supercharged motors.

im guessing ive had alittle over 100 cars now, bought my first maxima about 2-3 months ago, and bought my second one a week after (parts car) if your car is reliable, drive it, save up money, buy a second car to toy with, one thing ive learned is NEVER mod your daily driver when you dont have a backup car, also, when you live in a cold wet climate (in winter) DONT buy a motorcycle when you dont have a car (a lesson a friend learned)

Lots of people owned multiple Fiero's, and at the same time. That's because it took 3 Fiero's together to get one functioning car.

Damn pretty car, too.

I've seen many Fiero's with different motor swaps. They can be made pretty fast, too. Speaking of the supercharged 3800, I still wish I had my GTP.

For real... I need to go work at a damn batting cage. I just can't seem to find a job that pays squat! I'm not greedy, just enough for me to qualify to buy a house. Apartment living sucks... My downstairs neighbor is such a biotch, always trying to start pointless ****
