First Drive after getting it reconstructed

Today i got my 02 max. SE 6MT legal, i did the salvage reconstruction on it and couldnt actually drive it till today,

first feel for the car is its nice and solid, has a VERY smooth power transition, my contour SVT was loads of fun, but the power is nowhere near as smooth.

the heated steering wheel is awsome, the car handles good, but im going to have to replace the bent rear beam axle asap, steering wheel is slightly crooked and i think its due to the right rear wheel leaning in at the top.

ive gotta get a few rattles outta the car but overall im pretty happy about the ride and comfort of the car, and wish it had a HLSD, getting 1st and 2nd gear power to the ground is alittle troublesome.

Getting things straight will help get the power down. A bit wider rim and/or tire will also help. There are some additional mods that will assist in that area as well: knights torque mounts or Aaron's torque link. There are also some subframe collars that really firm up the front. Congrats and good luck!

Cool. Post some pictures. Like stated above I would go about fixing anything that is messed up or broken first.

yep, same matt cantley, drove the car alittle more today, i definitely want to put the stock wheels/tires back on the car, but i gotta swap around some tires first, right now im running some 17" ADR spades with 225/45/17 BFgoodrich geforce KDW NT tires, they feel every bump in the road and hug any lines on the road (not good) also the rear axle beam is getting swapped out soon, i pulled that from my parts car and it appears to be in good shape.

i still have to install the Qlogic kick panel forms i bought, and fix some interior rattles that i have when the subwoofers hit (installed two twelves inside cabin of the car on the rear deck) everything on the car seems to be in proper working order though, hope to get a few years outta the car.

its sitting in the driveway, my driveway is full now, i gotta get rid of my contour SVT, i ended up having about $3000 in the maxima completed (minus the stereo) im going to ask $2800 for the contour SVT, its a solid car, just dont need so many cars, ive got 8 total right now.
