Why didn't the G35 match the image in ur mind? Didn't you see pictures of it before u went? I thought it was better than last years too...more debuts I think. I saw the Fast and the Furious Maxima at the Kentia hall hehe

well...let's see....maybe it's cuz someone spread the rumor that the G35 will be sharing its chasis with the R34 Skyline? so, it was going to be a RWD RB26DET with just '2' doors?
but then now that you find out that it is actually a re-skinned Altima...you just go like...what the hell?

I don't think that it's fair to call the G35 a "reskinned Altima". For one thing, G35 is riding on the RWD, Nissan "FM" platform. If anything, the 350Z will be a reskinned G35.

In addition, Q3/4 this year, a two door coupe version of the G35 is rumored to be on sale with added horsepower (very close to Z numbers) and possibly AWD.

please...go look at the door cuts and the a,b and the c pillar..it says 'hello...i'm an Altima...but i'm also available as an Infiniti now'..
these are the basic car frame that tells u much more story..
you can play with the driving train..but can't toy with the structure of the car itself without making alot of changes...

don't worry..being an Altima isn't a bad thing at all...
i'm just sorry that it didn't come out the way most of us imagined...that's all...

I think the G35 and Altima were designed by different studios..maybe it's some new brand identity thing cause the Q45 has the same C pillar.

i'm not talking about the general shape of the pillar..
i'm talking about the actual pillar...to twitch one of Infiniti's past slogans..'Look at one, and you'll understand'..

i'm not saying i'm 100% right..i could be dead wrong..but then again, this is just my humble opinion...and god i hope i'm right..
