Worn shocks/strut symptoms

For the past few weeks, I've felt the ride on my 02 I35 getting rougher and rougher. Tire pressure and condition is good (all balanced, aligned, even treadwear). I'm beginning to think my shocks/struts might be going out (at only 75k miles). It feels like the car isn't absorbing much road impact and is sending it inside the cabin, especially on the highway. When going over speed bumps, the car doesn't bounce much and seems to clunk up front. I did the "bounce" test and all 4 ends bounce once and return. When I recently had an alignment done, they didn't say anything bad about the suspension/steering so I'm kind of at a loss as to what the issue may be. My other car, an 02 Accord with 165k miles rides smooth as glass on the original suspension/steering system.

I also owned a 99 Accord (same generation) and yes, the ride was much smoother. I agree with you 100% but sorry I can't give a reason for this. I'm on my 3rd set of strut mounts on this car, they are made horribly.
