Lights flickering can it be a bad ground??

I purchased a 2000 maxima SE and have been slowly fixing everything on the car that has been untouched. Recently when i am idle i see the light in my cluster( where the mileage is) flickering, yet when i hit the gas it will stay bright. Its a very faint flicker but definetly noticable. also when i back up to my garage i can see my reverse lights doing the same thing as the cluster lights!?! (also my power windows on the driver side is SUPER slow)

i would like to address this issue asap and fix it. so any help with be much appreciated.

Bad ground or as simply as a loose connection at your battery cable. It may also be a connection at your alternator.

Is the engine idling too low? Idle should be around 700 rpm. Low idle affects alternator output. Also check the alternator belt that it is tight and not slipping.

Worst case is that it may be the alternator, one of the rectifying diodes has opened up.

Check the alternator. I had the same exact symptoms, and my alternator failed shortly after. If you test for voltage with a multimeter at the battery, you will notice your voltage jumping around on the meter, which it's not supposed to do.

You sir continue to show you idiocy. No one here is telling this guy he needs to add grounds. If anything, it is not even related to his grounds.

Don't you have another turd of a thread to start? We need some more entertainment from you.
