After new Throttle Body - love my Max again

I finally broke down and brought my max to the dealer. I had been chasing down a SES light and uneven acceleration issue for a little while. First thing I did was clean the MAF - which didn't solve my problem. I then cleaned the throttle body - which was filthy. After learning to do the 'pedal dance' I was able to get the SES light to shut off. Eventually the light came back on and my idle was high 1200. I tried to to do the IAC relearn -but I couldn't get it to work. took it to the dealer and for $360, they put in a new throttle body and did the relearn procedure, which was listed on the receipt. Good as new now. With the car running like it should, I am again in love with my maxima. I would have put in the throttle body myslef - but knew I couldn't do the relearn - so it takes a little sting out of the cost. Next up - replacing the lateral links in the rear end. I put the energy suspension trailing arm bushings in - but the clunk still exist.

I replaced the TB myself a couples year back and did the idle relearn and it also fixed my problem. Cost me about $60 for a used TB. Glad you got your problem fixed though...

In the video below, you can hear something loose inside the TB...
