Frankencar Intake - Failed Visual Inspection
Frankencar Intake - Failed Visual Inspection
This is an odd question but I was wondering if anyone in Riverside County, California has the parts they removed from their car when they installed their intake (I'm not sure what all the parts are called except for the air filter box).
If so is there any way I could borrow the parts to pass smog and return them to you? I don't have much money right now as I lost my job... but I'd also be willing to buy these parts if the price is right (but that belongs in a different section of the forum).
I'm not exactly sure how I'd minimize the risk to you if you did let me borrow the parts.

Couldn't find any 5th gens at the junkyard. If I was to order a used air box, helmholtz resonator and air scoop (is the air scoop even necessary to pass visual?) do I need to make sure there is still a sticker? (I don't remember seeing one on mine).
I am in Corona which is pretty close to Riverside (I am a UCR Alumni).
I need the air scoop, air box and intake resonator... this is a picture from another forum post (not mine). I have the accordian coupler and the breather hose.
