Im new need help
where am i able too run the wire from the hood to the inside of my car. i want to wire 4 led strips on each seat along with an amp for my sub and want to know the best place to run the wires for everything. WANT TO KNOW ASAP AS I AM STARTING MY PROJECT ON MY 01 MAXIMA SOON

You are "able" to in just about any hole in your firewall - you can slit a hole in boots (carefully) and run power in.
HOWEVER...
If you are merely looking for switch +12V then why not tap in somewhere much more logical like under your dash, fuse panel, @ steering column....etc
