ABS Error code 61

My ABS TCS and Slip lights are all on all the time in my 2000 Maxima SE. Pep Boys diagnosed this to be Error 61 relay motor failure. Went to nissan to buy relay $28.00 Installed it in both banks to test and see if one is at fault. No change. Any suggestions?

I don't know what you bought or "installed in both banks".

Code 61 is a piece installed on the ABS unit itself and there is only one of them per car.

There are also 3 fuses used by the ABS, Fuse # 31 (10 amp) din the car by your left knee, bottom row 1st one from the right. Then there are fuses D and E, both 40 amp. They are located under the hood by the battery, The cover labels them ABS SOL and ABS MTR.

Did you do this?

6. Verify the location of the malfunction with the malfunction code
chart. Refer to BR-61. Then make the necessary repairs fol-lowing the diagnostic procedures.
7. After the malfunctions are repaired, erase the malfunction
codes stored in the control unit. Refer to BR-49.

8. Rerun the self-diagnostic results mode to verify that the mal-function codes have been erased.
