2002 nissan maxima

Hey guys i'm planning on getting a 02 maxima SE for 3700 but its got 190,000 km on it (including winter driving in alberta Canada) and no engine swaps. The normal maintenance work (oil changes etc) on it has been done regularly. So i'm wondering if 190k is too much on the car and if it will have problems regularly once it hits 200k.

PS - I want answers from people who know what they're talking about, not "geniuses" xD

a lot of the guys here have gotten well over 200,000 miles with no engine problems and regular maintence. its a toss up but chances are you wont run into a huge amount of problems.

I have 250,000 km on my Max. Lots of snow driving here in Ohio (I'm sure it's nothing like Alberta). The main thing you'll have to watch for as far as corrosion is the lower radiator support. It can be replaced but requires some welding skill. Mine is on its way out. I plan on having a friend replace it for me this Summer.
