P1320...I know, Ive searched....

Fellas! I have gotten the infamous P1320 code signaling a misfire. BUT I am not sure which coil it may be or even if its a coil at all. I pulled each coil while it was running and each one bogged. Could it be that one of the coils may be intermittently bad? Could it be something totally different? Ive been on the ORG too long and I have searched high and low and the forums. People who have claimed what I have, have never come back to the threads to update their status.

Anyone have a similar problem? the car seems to run fine. But I do notice that the Transmission feels like it slighlty lunges in low gear sometimes crusing, sometimes slowing down. Maybe around 35mph. I dont think a normal person would be able to sense the slight lunge though. I am not trying to spend money on buying all 6 coils if I dont have to, I DO know for a fact that coil #3(rear) was replaced 4 or 5 years ago. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ok first the 1320 is there because you may have a aftermarket coil in there or a coil os starting to go bad now.bet bet is to start changing them or wait till you get the misfire cel that tells tou which one is bad.OEM coils only!!! There is a vendor in the group deal section that sells oem coils but you have to get 3 at a time and there 50% cheaper then the dealer...

UPDATE:
Thnks for the replies guys, I want to update everyone on my situation to help ORG members in the future when they have this problem.

So I cleared the code with my scanner last week and it came back on a few days later. SLIP, TCS, and SES. I have noticed that on morning start ups that it starts fine but 10 seconds into idleing it bogs and trips the TCS and SLIP light (after it has dissapeared) with the SES already on. Its been consistent these last few mornings. As you know, its only a P1320 with no specific cylinder code. So after noticing a consistent bog in the mornings (symptoms getting worse) I scanned again and came up with a P0304, indicating cylinder 4 misfire..HALLELUJAH!

So to recap, if anyone gets the P1320 without any other code, drive on it a couple more weeks to see if the symptoms get worse. I noticed the trans slipping alot more too as time went on. And scan every few days to see if a new code comes up. Im waiting for my OEM replacements to come in and will update once again.
