Looking to purchase another Maxima..

I found 1 that I really like with 80,000 miles on it.. But, It has always been a California and Florida car, which it's been to both twice, and then from Florida to Michigan.. I'm wondering if this person actually drove from Cali to Florida and Florida to Michigan.. How much strain is that on the over all reliability if I decide to purchase something like this that has been driven from one end of the country to the other multiple times? There's only 1 service record on the carfax, a few dents and scratches for 9,000 dollars..
I thought the motor mount was mushroomed out but Infiniti dealer mechanic says it isn't bad "yet". There's also another max for 10k dollars unfortunately.. What the hell is wrong with these used dealers asking 10,000 dollars for an 03 Maxima with an engine ping nonetheless?? How could a family 4 door sedan cost 10,000 dollars for a 10 year old car??

id much rather have a car thats been driven on long trips like that, its much easier on the car than short trips here and there, 80,000 isnt high miles at all for an 03 model, but i would think if your buying from a dealer lot, $6000-8,000 is more appropriate. I may be wrong, but that seems more reasonable than $9,000-10,000.

dealerships will negotiate, look up trade in value on the car and thats probably pretty close to what they have in it, most dealers try to make around $1000-2000 on each used car trade in (at the minimum) so see what you can haggle.
