Bad motor mount possibly?
Hey guys. My car started making yet another new noise/clunk yesterday. Its a really loud clunk, and only happens when slowing down, and the engine is under load (downshifting when coming to a stop mainly). I checked the suspension last night, and everything seems okay there.
So now, I'm thinking motor mount? I dont get any noise or clunking while I'm driving or even accelerating, ONLY when im coming to a stop, and ONLY under load. Any suggestions? 2001, 5 speed. Thanks.
