reverse issue

i put my transmission back in, cant driv emy car yet though cause the pan is off. i have a 02 with a 6 speed and it wont seem to go into reverse. reverse lockout on the shifter works and it goes all the way to the right but when i go to move the lever into reverse its just jammed.

when reinstalling my transmission i broke the sensor on the back of it, could this be the issue?

Just wondering if you have fixed the problem? I just went inside my MT6 and replaced noisy input shaft bearing and assembled everything and all 6 Forward gears engage by hand by moving the forks EXCEPT the reverse? WTF? It seems like the when i remove the sping and the check ***** it works fine?

for me it was a plastic bushing that I lost that goes on the tranny lever, the one that isn't modded for the shifter mod.

on mine the side to side selector was off so reverse was hard to go in and I had to pull the reverse lockout and go over a bit more to catch 5th and 6th. dealer didn't have it so I ended up getting a bronze bushing off ebay.
