does the 2k2 have variable length intake runners also? I know it has variable valve timing, but not sure about the intake runners. Either way, an aftermarket intake will work the same.

i put my 2k1 intake on my 2k2 last night which took some modifications to the bracket but the only thing i noticed wrong was gas mileage went from 22 to 16 so other than that nothing.... i love the sound of that thing though!!!!

yeah, it has a variable valve intake. They use it as an advertising feature in their brochure. Because of this, I don't really know if it is worth changing the intake (it sounds like a pretty good design already).
