is this real???
is this real???
guys, my friend told me that the 2k2 max better not install the intake...cuz it has a valve in it and when it goes high speed..it closes...slow speed...it opens...so better not to install it...is that real??? since i am a car dummy~ thanks
i put my 2k1 intake on my 2k2 last night which took some modifications to the bracket but the only thing i noticed wrong was gas mileage went from 22 to 16 so other than that nothing.... i love the sound of that thing though!!!!

yeah, it has a variable valve intake. They use it as an advertising feature in their brochure. Because of this, I don't really know if it is worth changing the intake (it sounds like a pretty good design already).
