Rebuilt or used Manual Trans?

Here is my dilemma.

Looking at a used 01 trans for my 00. Has lsd. Looks like it is going to cost me around 800. Has 110k miles on it.

Spoke to a local nissan shop in Tampa that assures me they have techs with maxima trans. rebuild experience. Probably looking at 1000-1200 range.

I'm probably leaning towards the rebuild. Have read the stories about rebuilds on here and that concerns me.

I am tempted by the low mileage lsd. But who knows what abuse it has experienced.

If anyone has any input, I'd sure appreciate it. Thanks!

It's a coin toss.

Just get one that comes with a warranty IMO.
