Hot day issues
2000 ran fine until it hit 90 degrees outside. Now it shuts off right away and if you get it to run it shuts of while moving or at traffic lights. Just trying to get some insights before I scan tool it.

I was looking for an experience. I thought that was the reason we're on here. Sorry I was mistaken. When I see someone post something like what i posted and I have an experience with particular issue I share it. If not I don't say anything.

You know about codes, so why not help us out with some basic diagnostic information that will allow us to focus in on your problem.
Using the information you provided, a possible cause of the engine dying is your fuel pump is going bad. Valid but unlikely.

You must be forgetting how complex these cars are. The number of possible causes for your problem are so many that no one wants to take the time and theorize about it. You have essentially asked a generic question similar to "Hey, my car doesn't run right. What is wrong?"

As always, look at the FSM for a place to start. Then post your results of the various diagnostic procedures found in the FSM. DennisMik is 100% correct. Someone could tell you replacing all six ignition coils solved a similar problem. Then you report back you changed six ignition coils but the problem is still there.
The most valid answer to your original question would be take the car to a mechanic and ask for a free quote/estimate. Then post that.

I understand how generic the question was and I apologize. My point is sometimes a person will have the exact same situation. I wasn't trying to get anything etched in stone just doing a little fishing. Turns out it was the mafs. Thanx RR5 and DennisMik for your intelligent responses.

Just go to advance auto, get a free OBDII scan and come back to the org with the codes they pulled up. Then instead of snide remarks you'll get to take advantage of the resource that is Maxima legion. Trust me we want to help we just don't want to guess wrong for you and waste your time and ours.
