blower motor cuts off untill i slam hood

blower motor cuts off untill i slam hood
My 2001 maxima blower motor periodically shuts off untill I slam the hood at which point it comes back on

The fuses for the blower motor are in the box next to the battery. Maybe you have loose bus lines on the bottom.
