Anyone over 200k miles on there 5.5 ?

I was just curious who is hitting over 200k. I would like to keep my car for that long. My altima hit 198k before the engine was having severe oil consumption due to bad valve seals on my (KA24DE)

Theirs plenty of ppl well over 200k. only problem with 5.5 gens is oil consumption gets worse n worse then they run dry n lock engine or spin a rod bearing. as long as u keep oil in her u will see way more miles.

242K+ on my '00 VQ30. Leaking out of front and rear mains (not too much, but she leaves stains). So, gonna have to start looking for a 3.5 long block for some minor surgery.

I'm at 263,xxx with that comes a leaky engine and auto trans. I've got some odd power loss thing that I'm too lazy to look into and the suspension is worn pretty bad.

That stuff can be fixed though. These cars will run a long time. I'm on new coilovers so no problem there power is good. Plus if need be it will get a new engine

2003 6 speed with 206k mileage. Fuel pump and sender just went. Need to change spark plugs - throwing P0300. Other than that, engine is silky smooth with no oil consumption!

Guys, those are some awesome numbers. I sold my 97 SE with 148k and traded my 03 with 131K both cars would have well over 200k if I still had either of them. Now I have a 2010 SV and it has 51K on it, I plan on keeping it until the engine dies.

My 96 had 230,000 miles before it was totaled while it was parked on the street. Would have gone longer if not for that. The 2002 SE is at 199,xxx, & still runs very smooth. I too have a 2010 SV & hope to keep it as long. I've had pretty good luck with these cars lasting a while.
