Received mine in the mail today

 

So I contacted Infiniti today about an update on the recall. They ran my VIN and said my I35 wasn't affected. I was surprised because I thought nearly all I-series were included in this campaign.

So for some reason, Infiniti decided to not put Takata-provided airbags in my car at the factory?

 

It was just a certain run of the airbag trigger, I believe. You probably have a Takata airbag, just not one from the defective run.
