Hey hey. I'm the exact definition of a lurker here. 100% car guy/motorsports nut, but have no clue as to the Maxima/I35 community and what these cars are worth.

My dad has an '02 I35 that I'm going to list for sale in a few weeks. He's had the car since new, it's got 152k on it, and is relatively pristine. Black on black.

It's been mostly dealership-maintained its entire life, with services done on time. He's got records going back to day one in a binder. Three keys and three remotes.

I think it has every option except navigation. Heated front/rear seats, heated steering wheel, Bose audio, "easy entry" driver's seat (moves back/forward with key), rear sunshade.

Tires are going to be due for replacement in the next few months - they have good tread, they're just old. I figure I'll let the new owner pick what they want, instead of being stuck with new tires that are not what they'd prefer. Otherwise, it's up to date on everything. Some suspension bits and cooling system bits have been replaced, not sure which until I see the records. Leather is all in great shape with no tears and perhaps gentle cracks on the driver's bolster.

Any idea on what this'll be worth? I was initially hoping to list it for $6k or so, but that might be a bit high in looking at other FS ads and completed listings on eBay and such.

sounds like a clean car and 152k is not bad. If you have a couple pictures you can post than it'll be easier to price it once you see it.

 

This is (finally) posted for sale in the Classifieds. I took a wild guess as to what it's worth. Hopefully I'm not way out in left field.
