Aftermarket hand brake handle

So, I've searched and come up with a bit, but not much. I want to switch out the cheap looking ebrake handle and boot for something nicer. Now, I read that you have to heatgun the old handle off, but then it was a bit unclear. Do the aftermarket ones just fit on, is there an adapter, or do you have to work your own solution out?

In terms of the particular handle, I'm looking at the NRG seen here: https://www.getnrg.com/node/413/image_gallery Does anyone else have this? Feedback on it if you do please.

For the boot, I'm thinking Redline, but some of the pictures look like the boot has lots of excess material, which I don't really want. How are the Redlines attached on the bottom? Same holes as the stock rubber one, or somehow else?
