Can I use the vafc II to tune a turbo on the maxima?

What year? If it has ability to retard timing yup. You might be able to get away with it on the 3.0L but use Meth. But with the 3.5L the timing is pretty agressive and I would not do it without a way to retard the timing.

VAFC has no timing control. I would not recommend tuning a turbo car on a VAFC.

No. With all the technology out there now, there are far better ways.

I would use UTEC or Haltech to tune a turbo car, due to being able to control the injectors directly as well as having ignition timing control. I would not use an SAFC or VAFC to do this, they do not offer enough control.
