Clunk while turning SOLVED!

So my car has been making a nasty clunking sound when I turn, enough so that I could replicate the sound while in park. I'm putting this here bc I saw this problem/solution nowhere else. The problem was the outer tie rod. Took the left one off and it fell into two pieces. There's the problem! Lol. So if you too have this issue, this is your $18 solution! Picture will be up soon

Do you have a picture ? What do I need to know about replacing the outer tie rod ends without destroying the alignment?

As far as trying to save your alignment, count the number of threads between the actual tie rod and the rod connecting it that goes into the engine compartment (I'm not expert, if it weren't for my doityourself-er dad this would be near impossible for me haha), and when you put in the new tie rod keep the original number of threads. We goofed on mine and the right one we didn't do properly, guess who gets to go get an alignment!
