So when I go over bumps or the road is a bit rough, I hear this rattle sound coming from the front end. It's like coming from the middle bottom.I have had both of my front sway bar links replaced recently, so i don't think they are the problem.

Anyone has any ideas?

It's a 02 Maxima.

 

I have the exact same problem and I have no idea what it could be.

 

I have a similar rattle that I can also hear when I close the hood. Its a high pitched rattle that I hear over bumps as well. I have no clue what it is

 

Have any of you searched "front end rattle" or read through djfreestyle 's definitive suspension thread.

It is the bar that holds the latch from the hood. I will bet if you look underneath where it it is supposed to be bolted to the radiator support you will see the support rusted and the bar loose. Every time you go over a bump it bangs against the radiator support as when you close the hood.
