OK so I just recently started using the torque app on Android and I noticed my rpms go from 6.85 to 6.75 rpm at idle. Is that normal to fluctuate like that or could something be wrong? Maybe

Mine does it all the time, I wouldn't complain with that small of a difference.

Try a 4" MAF and 440's with a SAFCII and no primary O2's.

If you have an idle at six and eighty five hundredths (6.85) revolutions per minute, I doubt your car would be running at all.

Sometimes I hate that teaching math has made me this way...

 

My car actually has that idle, it shows that on the actual tec but the car doesn't struggle or anything

 

Pretty sure there's an x1000 in there somewhere.

 

I believe that 720-750 is the ideal idle RPM. But you should be fine- only start to worry if it is more than maybe 100RPM+ higher or lower.

If it really bugs you...
Try relearn procedures
Clean MAF
Sea Foam
Check plugs/ coils

Also, post your model year when asking questions or fill out your profile

 

675 +/- 50 for AT's, remove 50 for MT's is from the FSM.
