I recently bought as 03 I35 that I put an 02 Maxima engine in and just took it on a trip. When I filled up, I reset to zero on the MPG indicator and at the end of my trip I compared results. The MPG indicator was 28.5 and the calculated gallons used vs miles driven was a little over 28 mpg. Even though my 96 did a little better, I was still pleased with 28 mpg.
My question is, have any of you compared the indicated MPG against the calculated MPG and was it that close?
