Wiring? // Deck Issues

Hey Nissan people

so i just purchased a used 2002 nissan maxima
so far so good really love the car

so far i have noticed( which i didnt when test driving)
that im having an issue with the deck reading cds. playing cds. the control on the steering wheel is some what un-resposive and same with the actual console itself. im gonna take it into a shop tomorrow but has anyone else faced this issue and have an idea what to look at?

my brother is saying its the wiring harness but since its more then one thing i feel he is wrong

thanks guys

Welcome to the Maxima. Rather than spending money on fixing the factory deck you should just invest in an aftermarket deck with more and better options.

Well i figure to buy a new deck and get a proper fit ( brace and shell) for the deck that is just gonna cost me over 300$

again like i said its also malfunctioning on the wheel which i rather enjoy having at my connivence
