ACC ( Heater Control Unit) Button Lights - Permanent Fix

Ok, so firstly I know all about the fix on this issue and have performed it once already about 2 years ago. here's a link or 2 to those who need it
http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...-light-up.html
http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...wont-work.html
http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...ights-out.html

Well coincidentally the same 2 of 3 bulbs are out again. Now IIRC someone actually found the underlying reason for these bulbs shortening out, and did something to the board to fix the cause of the issue in other words they didn't just replace the bulbs but they did something to correct the problem while changing the bulbs. Does anyone have any ideas, or insight on why the same bulbs would go out a year later?

So while searching for links to add above, I found this and I think this is what I was remembering.

This would imply a physical issue with the circuit board not getting a good contact with the bulbs. You might want to paint the bulb bases with plasti dip in order to create a tighter fit with the circuit board. I know that is what I did to get a better fit with aftermarket T4 bases. (Which I feel fit very loose in the HVAC without help)

I am going to try the plastidip method and see if that works. I am confused though because if you plastidip the bulb bases, how will the connection be made?

I will post results once I get around to it. (obviously takes time to see how long it works)

OEM bulbs aren't LEDs so replacing them with OEM bulb should last more than 2 years. My OEM bulbs are going on 4 years with no issue.
