2001 ae headlights

I have a 2001 anniversary edition and my stock headlights are dead. I have restored them so much but still look awful, I am looking for halo projectors, I was looking at the projector lights on eBay that have the same look as the 5.5 maxima lights, only problem Is that in the description it says fits 2000-2001 except for ae maximas, so would they work on my maxima? Has anyone done it?

Yup...those ebay store headlights are horrible.

The 5th gen Accord forum I was on before i got my Maxima all advised to stay away from those headlights, especially those Halo/Projector styles.

You would get better quality from an OEM pair of headlights with quality bulbs. The Sylvana Silverstar bulbs are great. They provide a nice white light, not as bright as HIDs but give a brighter beam than regular halogen bulbs.

From reading some of the responses, Depo makes bad quality headlights for Maximas but they were THE aftermarket headlights to get for 94-97 Accords, especially the JDM black housed clones. I really don't know how their headlights will perform.

All in all, I highly advise you to stay away from the those Generic Ebay store brands.

My headlights are pretty bad oxidated, and the driver side gets water inside the headlight.

Is there any good brand that sells halo lights, I just like the look of them with the 5.5 looks

i have ebay headlights and they're not bad, i just put an hid kit in it and i'm good to go. sure it might glare a little bit but then again you're not spending an arm and a leg to do a retrofit. if you're short on cash i would suggest this route but if you have the funds then i would either save up to do a retrofit or just buy the 5.5 OEM headlights

The 5.5 Gen headlights cost a lot. Just buy OEM replacement from courtesyparts.com
