Where to buy decent HID's

I'm looking for some yellow 3000k's for my fogs..

Any ideas on a good place to purchase them? I don't really want to spend more than $100. I tried DDM tuning a few weeks ago but I guess the paypal transfer never went through so I'm still on the search.

are these kits you guys are looking at/ordering brighter than stock? is there an advantage to having brighter fog lights?

A little above your price range, I know but well worth it.

If you want good ballasts for cheap, I suggest the G4 mini. They go for about 20 bucks a piece and you can find them on eBay. For HID bulbs just go with some cheap Xentec bulbs and you should be fine.

Why not get the whole Xentec kit for $30? Are the ballest not as good as the g4 mini's?

Xentec ballasts are absolute garbage. They're hardly potted making them not even waterproof. DO NOT buy them.

I have went through 3 or 4 pairs of the xentec ballasts and based on my personal opinion, they are crap. I've had the G4 mini ballasts for well over 6 months with no problem so that's why I'm recommending them. But at the end of the day, it's all up to you to decide on what to buy.

Well, if you really want to go through the 50/50 chance. Look on eBay as well as reviews. I purchased a set on eBay and nearly 1 month later the high beam stopped working in one bulb. They sent me another kit and now it hasn't malfunctioned. So far it's lasting me quite some time!
