i don't think people in this tread believe the Alti and G35 share the same platform anymore I posted this same reply a while back.

Look at a profile shot of both the G35 and the Altima. They are extremely similar, almost too similar to be based on different platforms. Can you blame me for being a little optimistic?

I really don't see any simularities in the G35 and the Altima. I do see a simularity in the 350Z, and G35 face wise.
