My maxima will turn over but no spark someone says it may need a turn up or crank position sensor any thoughts?

How did you determine it doesn't have spark?? No spark could be bad plugs, faulty coils or even wiring harness issues. You could also have fuel problems like bad pump, clogged strainer etc.

Start with checking for codes (OBII reader) you might even have an immobilizer issue. Its also common where the car isn't reading the immobilizer chip properly. It will crank and not start.

 

When you try to start the car is the red security light in the clock solid or blinking?
