new engine rattle
new engine rattle
I have already searched around and can't seem to find anything like it.
When I start the car it is quiet.
After driving for a bit, once i come to a complete stop there is a loud vibration/rattle that lasts for about 30 seconds. It seems to be coming from the passenger side of the engine.
It only happens when I make full stops and under very light acceleration up to 10kmh so like (6MPH).
Even when I pull up in the driveway, the second before I get a look under the hood it stops. Just revving the engine does not seem to cause the vibration to occur.
Any help would be appreciated.

Solved
So the problem has been solved, it was a combination of 2 sounds that was causing the issue.
1) Part of the heat shield that had broken off and was rattling against the exhaust.
2) I had installed a grounding kit a few weeks ago and it didn't appear to have any problems. However with the cold weather (i am assuming) the clicking sound with acceleration occurred. The solution was to remove the wire connecting the throttle-body to the firewall.
No wire no noise
