This is for a 4th gen but it's 90% the same for the most part.
You'll get the general idea from these videos, and you'll have to answer the question yourself based on watching these videos, if you think you can handle it... Read what I wrote below the videos.
The real only trick/difference are two things.
6MT is a bigger transmission (go figure ) so when it comes to pulling it off and putting it back on the motor you will need to separate it from the motor by 1/2 inch (clearing the dowel pins) and then ROTATE IT towards the FIREWALL (about 30-45 degress) before you're able to pull it off of the motor (subframe clearance issues).
Anddd also...
The 6MT not being the inferior 5MT you have shifter cables, just unbolt the bracket from the tranny keeping the cables attached.

I haven't done the 6 spd.
However I've dropped my 5 spd many times.
Imo the biggest pain is lining it back up to put it on. I use an atv Jack and keep a bunch of wood shims and cardboard to position it correctly.

(Or people who manage not to loose their 36mm socket @ 1am in the morning on a job that needs to be finished by 7am )
