2003 Se Exhaust
Can someone tell me the best exhaust system to use? Including headers and where to buy

ignore the dude above
Headers
- Cattman (these are considered the top of the line)
- OBX
OBX are about 2x cheaper than Cattman though
Exhaust
- local shop
- Cattman
- EbaY
For exhaust, you could find a local shop to make you a exhaust, replace the b-pipe, reduce the drone issues and all with mandrel bends! This type of work probably very $$$$. I think .org consensus is 3" is big enough.
Just please no excessively noisy exhausts. Potential for hearing loss and pissing off neighbors.
If you go through with headers and 3" exhaust, you should research piggy backing...
If you have have even more money to burn, ceramic coat everything

CJ - There is just simply such a plethora of information already in the 5th gen section that it would be impossible to transcribe it here. Using the above toolbar, you'll find the search function. Go Advanced Search then put in key words and specify only threads in the 5th gen forums. You'll be glad you did.
The simple answer is the Cattman is the premium header/y system in comparison to the OBX. Although both install and prove gains, both have their particular minor install issues. Additional issue at the moment is obtaining either system. OBX is hit or miss on availability as is Cattman due to Brian moving out of the scene.
There is no simple answer with the exhaust. Only thing I'll share is that 3" is proven to produce the most gains and Cattman tends to be the most tame in terms of volume and drone; though drone still exists. There are additional options to quitened the Cattman (or any other exhaust) such as custom larger resonator section (ie: Carltonator). eBay and I beleive MES are other options.
That should help motivate your search.

I have an SRS catback on my 02 which is relatively cheap compared to Cattman and I love the sound.

No problems with quality either, and Ive had it on both an 02' and a 00' max

Any type of headers that are like Cattman or OBX. Cat-back, anything that is 3" and mandrel bent. Test pipe, for maximum performance, although you will get some smell with it and there's always emissions.
Also, be a little more detailed as to what your goals are, any previous mods, etc.
That is all. Oh yeah, search.
